A Salute to the West Road Staff
As every other ambulance blogger has already spoken about this, I'm not going to.
Except to say - God Bless the West crews!! I've not had any problems telling them that they are going on break. They've all just got on with it and made our lives very easy. They've not quibbled about "we have one more minute on break" or driven round the M25 to avoid going back to station. We're not happy about it, most of them aren't happy about it but it's now European Law so what can we little people do about it. Nothing - suck it up for the time being until someone realises that lives are at stake when there is an amb 2 seconds down the road from someone having a heart attack. We just carry on as best we can until then.
So to A1, A2, A3, A4, A505, B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, C2, C4, F2 and S2 - who worked Mon-Thurs nights last week - I thank you!

You'd get no complaints from me if you put me on break....bring it on....or at least, ask the SW desk to...
It's a shame you guys are getting crap for putting crews on break....it's not your fault.
